The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular uk school in 1981, 1991 and 2001. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The 3 pie charts depict the varying yearly expenditure of a certain UK school in three different years.

Overall, it is clearly evident that the salaries of teachers took a larger proportion. While money spent on wages of other workers saw a decline, the opposite is true for how much that went into paying for insurance.

To begin with, tutors’ pay was 40% of the whole spending, increasing by 10% in 1991; however, there was a decrease of 5% in 2001. Insurance generally had a 6% increase throughout the period. Remuneration for other employees saw a downward trend from 28%, 22%, then 15% in the respective years of 1981, 1991 and 2001.

On the other hand, there were fluctuations in the expenditure on furniture as well as resources and books. For the former, its total cost dropped down to 5% in 1991 as compared to 15% in 1981, but it was later projected to 23%. The latter constituted 15% in the initial year, but that reduced to 9% in 2001, even though there was a rise of5% in 1991.
