The diagrams below show the changes that have taken place at West park Secondary School since its construction in 1950.
SAMPLE ANSWER
The diagram below describes the changes around the West Park Secondary School. The images are about three different periods with a distance of thirty years one with each other.
Overall, it’s noticeable that during the time the space built by man increased, while the grass fields were reduced.
The first thing we can see is that the houses have disappeared since 1980 to leave space for the car park and a science block near the school building.
In contrast, the school building remains unchanged during the years, such as the main road. Nevertheless, since 1980, it got the science block located on the left of the construction.
The major variation is on the left side of the map, in which is clear the rise of the car park, which in 1980 was only one in four of the half, whilst the farmland was one in two of the square. At the end of 2010, the place of the parking was jumped to the whole side, reducing sports fields and the playground, which are concentrated in the lowest middle of the right part.
