PART – 1 INTRO PART
What is your full name?
My name is Manmehar Kaur.
How may I address you?
You may address me as Manmehar.
May I see your ID?
Sure, here it is.
How often do you like to hang out with friends?
I hang out with my friends from time to time. Normally if we have lots of time on the weekends, we will go to the cinema to watch movies to have a good time. We might also have dinner together in a restaurant if we have the time.
Who do you usually like to hang out with?
Usually I like to hang out with one of my close friends. Actually we live in the same community so we can meet frequently. Also, both of our kids are in the same class in kindergarten, so we like to take them to the park or playground together.
Where do you like to go when you hang out with your friends?
Well, that depends. We sometimes go to a restaurant to enjoy tasty food if someone knows a decent place. Also if we have plenty of time we like to plan a hike or camp in a nearby forest park to enjoy outdoor life. That would be a very memorable experience.
Do you like to go out with a big group or just few friends?
Well, if I had to choose between the two, I would probably go with hanging out with a big group people because I think that I am an extrovert. I like to meet different people to know about different kinds of life and make myself more sociable: whereas, you know, with only a few people around, it would be hard to find something interesting to do, such as travelling, hiking, etc.
Why do people care too much about money?
I think the reason is simply because money equals power. The more money you have, the more things you can do, the more influence you have over people. No one refuses power so that’s why they give priority to money.
Is money important to you?
Absolutely. I can buy things with money and give presents for my family by my own money. It makes my life more meaningful. It’s like a motivation to push me forward and work harder to enhance my life. For me, money is just never enough and if I’m satisfied with what I earn, I’ll fall behind with fellows.
What do people in your country save money for?
I suppose it’s up to different purposes. While the young save money for travelling or paying tuition fees, the elderly tend to keep money for health service and their kids. However, young people have more desire than the seniors so they often spend more than their savings.
PART – 2 CUE CARD
Describe an occasion when you helped someone.

SAMPLE ANSWER
Well. There are times when people need other’s help and lend a helping hand to others as well I am no exception. Last year, I helped my roommate to see a doctor as she could barely walk because of the great pain caused by kidney stone.
Actually, it was in a snowy morning, I walked up and saw that she was trembling all over and as white as a sheet in her bed. She thought it would be alright after a while. Without a second thought, I took all the cash I had and helped her to get dressed, and then we hurried to the nearest hospital in a taxi. However, after all the difficulties we had in catching a taxi and all the coldness and pain my roommate suffered, the hospital did not put an immediate end to it. We had to stand in a long line to pay the registration fee first.
What pissed me off was that there were still more patients before us waiting to see the doctor. Later, with prescription in hand, I had to do the whole waiting thing again to pay for and pick up medicine separately. Thankfully, the acute pain of my roommate was greatly relieved by a shot of painkiller. As we returned to school, I put her to bed and saw her grateful look.
For my part, I think it is quite natural to help people we care about and expect nothing in return. And I believe a friend in need is a friend indeed. Besides, I do enjoy the feeling of being needed.
PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
According to you, why people are ready to help others?
Well, some people prefer to help others without knowing any profit and loss because they help someone to satisfy own soul. With it, some people think if you have someone then god definitely helps you in a good and bad situation.
What do you think it’s important to help others?
Definitely if anyone needs help then help him or her. Apart from that, if a family member, a society member, an unknown person stuck in any problem then you definitely help those persons who need some help with it, left family members and people of society also influence from you and also follow your way.
In your country, what type of persons need help?
In my nation India, mostly poor and old needs help. Sometimes people face different sorts of problems such as no food, clothes, and shelter. Unfortunately, farmers need to help from people and government because they are the second name of God. With their hard work, we eat food. According to my point of view, the government should change the farmer policies and helps the farmers in different ways. People’s also give support to the farmer for better eatable things because “Good food good health”.
