You booked a home cleaning service but need to cancel it. Write a letter to the cleaning agency. In your letter:

– Give the details of your booking

– Explain why you need to cancel

– Ask for a refund or an alternative appointment

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to cancel my upcoming home cleaning service scheduled for July 28th at 10:00 AM, which I had booked through your website under the name KK SD. The reference number for my booking is CLN78342.

Unfortunately, due to an urgent family emergency, I will not be at home on that day and therefore won’t be able to accommodate the cleaning team as planned. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this short notice.

I would appreciate it if you could either issue a full refund to my original payment method or reschedule the appointment for any available date after August 5th. Please let me know what options are available.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance. I look forward to your response.
