The graph below gives information from a report about the purpose and frequency of Internet use by medical students in 2009 in one country. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the frequency and purposes of internet use among medical students in one country in 2009.
It is evident that emailing was the most frequent activity, with around 50% of students using the internet for this purpose weekly, followed by about 40% using it for chatting. Conversely, research and patient information were accessed less frequently. Only around 10% of students used the internet daily for research or patient-related information, while about 35% and 30% reported never using it for these purposes, respectively.
Reading recommended coursework and chatting were also relatively common, with approximately 20% of students engaging in them weekly. Notably, over 40% of students never used the internet for chatting, while nearly 30% never used it for coursework.
In summary, the primary internet usage among medical students was for email and chatting, while academic purposes such as research or accessing patient information were less frequent. A significant proportion of students reported never using the internet for these academic activities.
