IELTS GENERAL WRITING TASK 1

A TV company is going to make a new program about a place near your home. Write a letter to the head of the production Company. In your letter:

– Explain how you found out about the TV program

– Say how you know the place where they plan of film

– Suggest some information about the place that could be included in the TV program.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir/Madam

I, Rachel, resident of 36 B-Town, Canada, a constant viewer of your programs, write-up this letter to tell you some hidden treasures about the place ; Bridgestone building you chose for your next series.

While reading the news in the newspaper, a very interesting news caught my attention which was related to your company: Star TV production house, from which I come to know about that building where you are going to shoot, the Bridgestone building Is not only located very closed to my apartment but also the owner of the property is very close friend of mine.

In order to help you to shoot your series in a very good way, I would like to suggest you to ask the manager to show you the mystery room at the end of the 3^rd floor which is not usually showed to the public. If I talk about your previous shows that were quite mysterious so, that location would be beneficial for you to include.
