Mode of Payment

IELTS test fee can be paid by using the following modes:

• Netbanking and Credit/Debit (Visa or Master)

• Demand Draft: Kindly make sure that the demand draft is made from the list of recognized banks and is drawn in favor of “IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Payable at New Delhi”. The list can be found here in the Terms & Conditions paper.

• Bank deposit: Alternatively, applicants may use a customized deposit slip, which may be downloaded from the IELTS IDP India website or acquired from the closest IELTS IDP branch office or referral partner, to deposit cash in ICICI/HDFC bank branches. The original customer copy of the deposit slip must be included to the IELTS application form.

Rechecking Fee for IELTS Test

Candidates can request to have their IELTS exam results rechecked if they are dissatisfied with the outcome. They must complete it within six weeks of the test date, so keep that in mind. The candidate must fill out the application completely and mail it, together with the ₹11,625 (taxes included) payment. The cost must be paid with a demand draft made payable to “IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED” and made payable in New Delhi. Only if the outcome is altered will the payment be reimbursed. The processing of this may take two to four weeks.

Refund Policy 

Candidates may cancel their test registration before to the planned test date, regardless of whether they are registered for the Academic or General Training version of the IELTS.

Students can visit the official IDP IELTS website and use their username and password to enter the ‘Test Taker’ portal, which will start the cancellation procedure.

They can submit a cancelation request and any necessary supporting documentation after logging in. This protocol guarantees a simple cancelation process for test registration.

• You are entitled to a refund if you withdraw your IELTS application more than five weeks prior to the planned test date. However, the payment will be less a 25% administrative charge.

• There won’t be a refund if the exam is canceled less than five weeks in advance.

• Not showing up for the test without canceling beforehand is likewise regarded as a cancellation, and there won’t be a refund in these circumstances.

• A refund may be given after deducting local administrative charges if a candidate presents a valid medical certificate within five days of the test date. The availability of this return is dependent upon a medical certificate being submitted in the allotted time.

IELTS Rescheduling Fee

Candidates must request a test day transfer and pay the cancellation/postponement fee at least five weeks in advance of the test date if they need to change it. Furthermore, the new test date needs to fall between the first and second test dates by three months. To modify their exam date, candidates must pay an administrative fee of ₹3,300, which includes all taxes.
