SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir

I am writing this letter to request assistance from your prominent agency in securing a part-time volunteer job for local children. I am a recent university graduate with a Bachelor of Education and specification in early childcare.

As, I am taking an undergraduate study, I am looking for part-time work to gain experience and apply theoretical cognition. I also have practical skills which I gained through a ten week internship at a Montessori school during my undergraduate degree. Here, I have worked with children aged between 3 years to 7 years, and in addition, I learnt how to apply the principles of individuals learning in a communal environment.

I would appreciate it if you would consider my skills and experience in placing me in a suitable local area for voluntary work. I am available for immediate start and am prepared to work three days per week, moreover I am contactable on 4475578. I also attached my curriculum vitae which detail my qualifications and experience.
