Dear Manager,
The objective of writing this letter is to let you know the inconveniences that I faced during this trip that I could never have imagined. My Passenger Name Record (PNR) is 45862358, and the carrier was UA 49.
I traveled on a one-way ticket from Mumbai to New York on 28 September 2015. My travel agent was ‘Expedia Holidaymaker’. The flight was delayed from Mumbai itself owing to a mechanical fault. Therefore, I happened to miss the connecting flight at Munich Airport, Germany for New York The next available flight for New York was at 23:00, gifting me a layover of 6 hours at airport.
The worst part was (that) there was no United Airlines Counter to help me. Your strategic partner did not bother about inconveniences that were caused. Nor did they have any courtesy to offer snacks during this imposed layover. Unlike others, I did not expect any compensation but surely a little courtesy would have healed my predicament.
Based on this experience, I have decided not to fly by your airlines ever again unless any convincing improvements are shown.
