You are planning to travel and would like someone to take care of your apartment while you are away. Write a letter to a friend. In your letter

SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Nj,
I thought you should know about my latest plans. I am going away on a long business trip, and I need someone to look after my apartment. There are just a few simple things that need to be done.
My company is sending me to South America. I will visit our branch offices in several different countries and will be traveling for a month. I think it will be an exciting trip.
I need someone to look after things at home while I am away. I hope that you can help me with this. You live nearby so I don’t think it will be inconvenient for you.
I would like you to visit my apartment two or three times a week. You can water the plants and check to make sure there aren’t any problems. Also, you can pick up the mail and leave it on the kitchen table for me.
I hope you will be able to help me with this. Let me know as soon as you can.
