Panacea – the goddess of healing

aberration – a state or condition markedly different from the norm

Sentence- You’ll have to break the branches away to get through the thick forest.
Gratitude- the feeling of being thankful or grateful.
Sentence- As a token of our gratitude for all that you have done, we would like you to accept this small gift.
Generally speaking- used to describe a general feeling or opinion about something.
Sentence- Generally speaking, people did not move very far.
Makes it possible- allows/enables.
Sentence- Retroactive notation makes it possible to indicate distinct facets without recourse to mixed notation.
Majority- the greater number or part of something.
Sentence- Three of the justices dissented from the majority decision.
Mingle- to mix or combine something with something else.
Sentence– The flowers mingle together to form a blaze of colour.

Sentence– He studied his map, trying to memorize the way to Rose’s street.
To make the grade- to successfully reach a particular standard.
Sentence– He overcame to make the grade as a teenage gymnast and then went on to university.
Maintenance- the process of preserving something.
Sentence– The caretaker is responsible for the maintenance of the school buildings.
Mindless-not requiring much mental effort (thought or intelligence).
Sentence- Somebody goes and does something mindless like that and just destroys everything for you.
Mass- a large number or amount of something.
Sentence– The priest celebrated High Mass in church.
Mass-produced-produced in large quantities, usually by machinery.
Sentence– Even within the world of mass-produced culture, it is possible to approach the question of standardization differently.
Rival- competitor.
Sentence- The rival political parties are already jockeying for power.
To rest-to take a break or relax from some activity.
Sentence- After stopping to rest, they proceeded up the hill.
Review-to look over, study, or examine again.
Sentence- The reviewer padded out his review with a lengthy biography of the author.
Rebellious- opposing the ideas or rules of authority.
Sentence- Her rebellious attitude is just a reaction against her strict upbringing.
Resourcefulness- the ability to be good at finding quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties.
Sentence- Our dependence on overseas trade puts drive and resourcefulness in the export industries at a premium.
Reinforce-to strengthen; to make something stronger.
Sentence- Remember you want your visuals to reinforce your message, not detract from what you are saying.
