user-friendly – easy to learn, use, understand, or deal with.
Sentence- This is a flexible and user–friendly system suitable for beginners and advanced users alike.

computer literate – able to use computers and related technology efficiently.
Sentence- You can demonstrate a program for a corporate executive but you can make him computer literate .

obsolete / outdated – no longer used because something newer exists : replaced by something newer.
Sentence- The car has been criticized for its outdated body styling.

gadget / equipment (a piece of equipment) / appliance / device / hardware
Sentence- It’s a clever little gadget which you can use to cut vegetables into attractive shapes.

a dose of medicine – a dose of a substance that is used in treating disease or relieving pain and that is usually in the form of a pill or a liquid;
Sentence- She had given her a tiny dose of medicine just before the explosion, and now Julia closed her eyes.

pill – a small, rounded object that you swallow and that contains medicine, vitamins, etc.;
Sentence- Defeat in the election was a bitter pill for him to swallow.

shot / injection – the act or process of forcing a liquid medicine or drug into someone or something by using a special needle;
Sentence- Antiseptic is used to sterilize the skin before giving an injection.

painkiller – a drug that decreases or removes pain that you feel in your body;
Sentence- Some hot lemon drinks contain only a painkiller as the active ingredient and these can cost a lot more than an unbranded painkiller.

antibiotics – a drug that is used to kill harmful bacteria and to cure infections;
Sentence- We can treat this condition quite successfully with antibiotics.

ambrosial – something extremely pleasing to taste or smell;
Sentence- Taking refuge in the Dharma, save the ambrosial water and set up a waterworks in yourselves.

crunchy – having a hard texture and making a loud sound when chewed or crushed: not soft or mushy;
Sentence- This super crunchy coating turns out to be ultra-skinny noodles.

delicious – very pleasant to taste;
Sentence- The pear is a delicious fruit and I like it very much.

savoury – having a pleasant taste or smell;
Sentence- Savoury filo recipes next week; then we want the best recipe for game-bird stuffings.

unflavoured – without flavor additives;
Sentence- No one likes the unflavoured food.

allergy – a medical condition that causes someone to become sick after eating, touching, or breathing something that is harmless to most people;
Sentence- He’s going to have an allergy kit there.
