SAMPLE ANSWER
The bar graph illustrates the number of books borrowed from a local library in Britain in 2009. Overall, the number of books rented by the library doubled from the first month of the year through December. Besides, February witnessed the least number of rents and, on the other hand, December hit the largest number of the books rented.
In the first month of 2009, Malton Twon Library rented 10 books, but the next month the figure declined to 6 cases, with a slight increase of one for the next month (7 books in March). In April, the number grew as almost twice as the previous month. For the next three following months, the figure fluctuated just between 13 and 15, before soaring to 20 books in August.
The remainder of the chart reveals that it was not until September that the survey saw the most dramatic slump (from 20 to 12). In the next month, it once again rose by two but dived to nine rents in November. Finally there was a boom of 11 cases in the last month for the library to finish the year with 21 rents.
